Costa Rica Surf Report – 1/9/2009

Although, the surf forecasts for Costa Rica show as have little or no waves today, Playa Grande is firing with shoulder high waves and even some slightly bigger sets.  The wind has been blowing offshore all morning and should continue to do so for the rest of the day.  The crowds have died down now that all the holiday travelers have headed home.  Now, its just the local crew and the few wise travelers are scoring these fun waves.

Keep surfing and we hope to see you down here soon!
