Costa Rica Surf Report:

1-2ft  Ankle to knee high + waves with fair to good shape.

Playa Grande, Costa Rica -  The waves were super small again this morning, but there were a few sets that pushed through some waist high peelers.  It has been really good for longboarding, but not much else.  Still, I got a fun one that made my day.  We have steady offshore winds with good surfing conditions, this should make for a fun longboard session on the incoming tidal push.

Surf forecasts are predicting a slight decrease in swell over the next few days.  Hopefully, it picks up soon.  When it does, it should get really good.

Costa Rica Tides:

We had an early morning high tide of 9.24ft @ 6:26am, dropping down to a low tide of -0.53ft @ 12:42pm, moving up to a high tide of 9.74ft @ 6:52pm this evening.

Costa Rica Surf Report:

2-3ft  Knee to waisst high waves with fair shape.

Playa Grande, Costa Rica -  The waves were smaller this morning, it looked like fun at daybreak.  It was short lived though.  A twelve foot tidal swing is creating a very short opportunity to get it during the prime conditions.  The photos were taken this morning on a quickly dropping tide.  It should get better, and maybe slightly bigger on the incoming tidal push.  Hopefully, the winds will cooperate today.  Currently, we have steady offshore winds with good surfing conditions.

Surf forecasts are predicting a slight decrease in swell over the next few days until we start seeing a little something on Wednesday or Thursday.

Costa Rica Tides:

We had an early morning high tide of 10.08ft @ 4:01am, and quickly dropping down to a low tide of -1.35ft @ 10:09am, moving up to a high tide of 10.42ft @ 4:29pm.

Costa Rica Weather:

We had sunny skies with the occasional cloudy with steady offshore winds.  Dry season is in full swing.  It’s starting to get hot and the Papagayo winds are in full effect!  All and all, another beautiful day in Playa Grande, Costa Rica.
