Surf camps are what Una Ola Surf Resort does best. We provide several all-inclusive surf camp packages at our location in Playa Grande, Costa Rica. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or experienced surfer, we have something for you.
Our beginner surf camp package is the perfect choice for beginner surfer’s that really want to learn how to surf. The beginner surf camp vacation package is designed to teach you the basic surfing skills you need to surf with confidence. We begin our surf camp with an ocean safety and awareness seminar, so you know what to look out for, and how to stay safe while surfing. We then, teach you the proper paddling technique, how to catch a wave and how to stand up on your surfboard. Once you learn how to catch and stand up on a wave, we teach you several “skills drills” to help you maximize your time during your surfing lessons. By the end of your week long surf camp you will feel confident surfing in small waves knowing what you need to practice to keep improving your surfing skills.

The intermediate surf camp package is the perfect choice for surfers who feel confident in paddling out into shoulder high waves, but are having a little trouble catching and riding every wave you try to surf. We begin our intermediate surf camps by taking you surfing and assessing your surfing ability, focusing on your strengths and helping you correct your weaknesses. If you are having trouble judging the waves, getting in position to catch the better waves or have trouble making sections, the intermediate surf camp is just what you need to help you improve your surfing skills.

The experienced (advanced) surf camp is perfect for surfers that are confident with their surfing ability in head high or larger waves, but still want to hone their surfing skills. If you want to start catching airs, tube ride with confidence, then this is the surf camp choice for you. We take you on daily surf tours to the best possible waves in the area, and our local surf tour guides are not only great surfers, but are also International Surfing Association certified surf instructors that are trained to help you refine and improve your surfing technique.
