Surf Report – Costa Rica Surfing Reports – August 16, 2010

Costa Rica Surf Report:

3-4ft  Waist to chest high waves with very poor shape

Playa Grande, Costa Rica -   The waves looked like junk this morning.  A rainstorm came in last night and hasn’t let up, making a mess of things.  The wind is steady onshore and water quality is really poor.  I don’t expect the conditions to improve anytime soon.

Costa Rica Tides:

We had an early morning high tide of 9.59ft @ 7:17am, dropping down to a low tide of 0.36ft @ 1:31pm, then moving up to a high tide of 8.37ft @ 7:46pm tonight

Costa Rica Weather:

We currently have cloudy skies with steady onshore winds and lots of rain later today.   It looks like it’s going to be another wet day down here in Playa Grande, Costa Rica.
