Surf Report – Costa Rica Surfing Reports – August 23, 2010

Costa Rica Surf Report:

4-6ft  Chest to head waves with poor to fair shape

Playa Grande, Costa Rica -   The waves are dropped quite a bit overnight in Playa Grande and the conditions are looking favorable for the incoming tide.  The tide is too low at the moment, but we should see much better wave as it starts to fill in.  This should also cause the size to increase a little with the tidal push.  The wind was light offshore and conditions are glassy.

Costa Rica Tides:

We had a morning low tide of 1.55ft @ 8:01am, moving up to a high tide of 8.24ft @ 2:09pm, then dropping back down to a low tide of 0.88ft @ 8:21pm tonight.

Costa Rica Weather:

We currently have sunny skies with light offshore winds with  a slight chance of rain later today.   It looks like it’s going to be another beautiful day down here in Playa Grande, Costa Rica.
