Surf Report – Costa Rica Surfing Reports – July 10, 2009

3-5ft  Waist to shoulder high waves with some bigger sets and fair to good shape.

The waves cleaned up a little and brought us some fun waves.  The surf was still a little fat at high tide, but there were some good hollow sections that came together.  The winds were light and variable all day, going onshore at about 3:30pm.

It was a fun day for surfing in Playa Grande, Costa Rica!

The weather was partly sunny until a small thunderstorm passed through at about 2:30pm, bringing us some light showers and lightning.

We had an early morning a high tide of 8.59ft @ 4:47am, which dropped down to low tide of 1.28ft @ 10:44am  moving up to a high tide of 8.57ft @ 4:55pm.
