Surf Report – Costa Rica Surfing Reports – July 29, 2010

*I’m back from my surf trip down to southern Costa Rica and will be on schedule to provide daily surf reports from Playa Grande.  I’ll also be updating the surf reports that I was unable to post while on the road.

Costa Rica Surf Report:

3-4ft  Waist to chest high waves with poor to fair shape

Playa Grande, Costa Rica -   The waves looked fun early this morning with light offshore winds turning onshore by 10:00am.  The waves started closing out early soon after the tide began to recede.  Hopefully, the wind conditions will remain calm for a chance

Costa Rica Tides:

We had an early morning high tide of 8.94ft @ 4:52am, dropping down to a low tide of 0.94ft @ 10:53am, then moving back up to a high tide of 8.62ft @ 5:03pm, this evening.

Costa Rica Weather:

We have mostly cloudy skies with light onshore winds and a chance of showers later today.  It looks like it’s going to be another beautiful day down here in Playa Grande, Costa Rica.
