Surf Report – Costa Rica Surfing Reports – July 5, 2009

6-8ft  Overhead waves with poor to fair shape.

The swell picked up again this morning and continued to build throughout the day.  The waves were overhead, but mostly walled out. The winds were  offshore, making for good surfing conditions despite lack of good shape.  The crowds seemed to have headed south to surf Avellanas.

The weather is sunny with some clouds and looks like another beautiful day in Costa Rica.

We had an early morning low tide of 2.12ft @ 7:14am  moving up to a high tide of 8.26ft @ 1:30pm, and then, dropping back down to a low tide of 1.20ft @ 7:53pm this evening.
