Surf Report – Costa Rica Surfing Reports – July 8, 2009

5-6ft  Shoulder to head high + waves with poor shape.

There was still a little size in the swell, but shape is still lacking.  The winds began blowing onshore from the north by about 10:00am, messing up the surf further.  Winds switched sideshore, from the south, when a small storm blew through.  Still, it did not clean things up at all.

It was not a good day for surf!

The weather is partly sunny until a thunderstorm came in around 2:00pm.

We had an early morning a high tide of 8.21ft @ 3:33am, which dropped to low tide of 1.58ft @ 9:27am  moving up to a high tide of 8.60ft @ 3:38pm.
