Surf Report – Costa Rica Surfing Reports – July 9, 2009

4-6ft  Chest to head high waves with poor to fair shape.

There waves cleaned up a little, but there was still too much size or some other factor disorganizing the swell.  The winds began blowing onshore by about 10:30am.

It wasn’t the best day for surf in Playa Grande!

The weather was partly sunny until a rain shower passed through at about 2:00pm

We had an early morning a high tide of 8.43ft @ 4:11am, which dropped to low tide of 1.40ft @ 10:06am  moving up to a high tide of 8.63ft @ 4:17pm.
