Una_Ola_Surf_Report_March_10_2010

Please Note: I arrived in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua last night (March 9, 2010) for a few days of surfing and relaxing.  I will be doing my surf reports from various beaches that I’ll be surfing during my trip.

Costa Rica (Nicaragua) Surf Report:

3 – 5ft  Waist to shoulder high with poor to fair shape.

Playa Santana, Nicaragua -  The waves were a bit junky, but look like a fun diversion.  I’ve been driving all morning and need to get wet.  It looks like there is a little swell building.  I can see some lines from the house I’m renting.  We have light onhore winds and a little bit of swell this afternoon.  I’m going to head out in a few to test the waters.

Hopefully, the wind will clean up a bit and give us a nice glass off session this evening.

Costa Rica (Nicaragua) Tides:

We had a morning high tide of 5.3ft @ 10:37am, dropping down to a low tide of 2.2ft @ 4:54pm, then moving on up to a high tide of 5.8ft @ 10:53pm tonight.

Costa Rica (Nicaragua) Weather:

We have sunny skies with steady onshore winds.  Its cool and breezy this morning.  All and all a very nice day in San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua.
