Please Note: I’m currently staying at a house in Rancho Santana, Tola, Nicaragua for a few days of surfing and relaxing.  I will be doing my surf reports from various beaches that I’ll be surfing during my trip.

Costa Rica (Nicaragua) Surf Report:

4 – 5ft  Chest to shoulder high + with poor to fair shape.

Playa Santana, Nicaragua -  The wind is onshore again this morning.  What’s the deal?  I thought it was always offshore in Nicaragua.  The wind is light onshore and the conditions looked best this morning at Panga Drops in Playa Colorado with shoulder high + sets.  Playa Santana looked to be picking up too much wind, still it looked like it could be fun with some decent corners coming through.  Playa Rosada had a couple waves, but it looked to be backwashing a bit and breaking a bit too close to the rocks to be worth it.

Hopefully, the wind will clean up a bit and give us a nice glass off session later today.

Costa Rica (Nicaragua) Tides:

We had an early morning low tide of 1.8ft @ 5:35am, moving up to a high tide of 5.4ft @ 11:51am, then dropping back down to a low tide of 2.1ft @ 6:08pm this evening.

Costa Rica (Nicaragua) Weather:

We have sunny skies with light onshore winds.  There is a little bit of a marine layer (fog) this morning.  All and all it looks to be a very nice day in Playa Santana, Tola, Nicaragua.
