Costa Rica Surf Report:

4-6ft  Chest to head high waves with fair to good shape

Playa Grande, Costa Rica – The waves were good early this morning, but the ebbing tide shut things down quickly.  The winds are light offshore with clean glassy surfing conditions.  Now that we are back to a normal offshore wind pattern, the incoming tide should bring us some good waves like last night.

Surfing forecasts are predicting the waves to get a little smaller over the weekend, and then, the first significant southern hemi swell to arrive on Monday.  This should produce some size for the early part of the week.

Costa Rica Tides:

We had an early morning high tide of 8.40ft @ 4:23am, dropping down to a low tide of 0.12ft @ 10:19am, moving up to a high tide of 9.02ft @ 4:37pm this afternoon.

Costa Rica Weather:

We had sunny skies with light offshore winds.  All and all it looks to be a very nice and hot day in Playa Grande, Costa Rica.
