Costa Rica Surf Report:
4-6ft Chest to head high waves with fair shape
Playa Grande, Costa Rica – The waves were looking pretty again, early this morning, but just like yesterday, the ebbing tide shut things down quickly. I took the photos at dead low tide and it was still working a bit. The winds are steady offshore blessing us with clean surfing conditions. The incoming tide should produce some good waves, that is, if the winds holds up. Unfortunately, they did n0t hold up last night.
Surfing forecasts are predicting the first significant south swell to arrive on Monday with double overhead waves.
Costa Rica Tides:
We had an early morning high tide of 8.27ft @ 4:57am, dropping down to a low tide of 0.22ft @ 10:53am, moving up to a high tide of 8.92ft @ 5:11pm this evening.
Costa Rica Weather:
We had sunny skies with steady offshore winds. All and all it looks to be a very nice and hot day in Playa Grande, Costa Rica.
