Surf Report – Costa Rica Surfing Reports – September 11, 2010

*Please note that we are on a surf trip in Nosara, Costa Rica and will be providing our surf reports from Playa Guiones until we return to Playa Grande this weekend.

Costa Rica Surf Report:

3-4ft  Waist to chest high waves with fair shape

Nosara, Costa Rica -  We dawn patrolled it this morning and to our surprise the surf conditions were fun.  There was no wind, it was glassy and the waves had some better shape than we had seen the past few days.  We are headed back to Playa Grande, we enjoyed our time and surf in Nosara.  Hope to make it back here soon.

Costa Rica Tides:

We had an early morning high tide of 10.76ft @ 4:24am, moving down  to a low tide of -1.19ft @ 10:35m, then moving back up to a high tide of 9.96ft @ 4:49pm in the evening.

Costa Rica Weather:

We currently have partly cloudy skies.  The sun is out today, get out to the beach and enjoy the sun while you can, expect thunderstorms later this evening and night.

Surf Report – Costa Rica Surfing Reports – September 10, 2010

Costa Rica Surf Report:

3-4ft Waist to chest high waves with poor to fair shape

Nosara, Costa Rica -  Surf conditions this morning were slight offshore winds, clean and glassy with inconsistent sets coming through.  There waves were small again today but there were still plenty of ridable waves.  The weather is nice again today, take advantage of it while you can.

Costa Rica Tides:

We had an early morning high tide of 10.69ft @ 3:38am, moving down  to a low tide of -1.20ft @ 9:48m, then moving back up to a high tide of 10.13ft @ 4:02pm in the evening.

Costa Rica Weather:

We currently have partly cloudy skies.  The sun is out today, get out to the beach and enjoy the sun while you can, expect thunderstorms later this evening and night.

Surf Report – Costa Rica Surfing Reports – September 9, 2010

Costa Rica Surf Report:

2-3ft Knee to waist high waves with fair shape

Nosara, Costa Rica -  There is some great weather today in Nosara.  There are slight offshore winds but the waves are holding up and are ridable.  Hopefully the winds stay slightly onshore the rest of the day so we can enjoy some smaller waves.

Costa Rica Tides:

We had a morning low tide of -0.91ft @ 9:01am, moving back up to a high tide of 10.02ft @ 3:14pm, then dropping to a low  tide of -1.07ft @ 9:19pm at night.

Costa Rica Weather:

We currently have partly cloudy skies.  The sun is out today, get out to the beach and enjoy the sun while you can, expect thunderstorms later this evening and night.
