Costa Rica Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report Video Surf Report: 4-7’ with  fair to good shape The surf was pumping this morning and there wasn’t much of a crowd in the water, considering how good it was coming through.  Hopefully the winds hold up all day.  It should be a great surf session on the incoming tide with lots of sick barrels to hunt down. Costa Rica Tides: We had an early morning high tide of 9.2ft at 6:37am dropping down to a low tide of 0.4 ft @ 12:48pm, then pushing up...

Surf Reports: Pavones, Costa Rica – April 24, 2017

Costa Rica Surf Report: 3ft  Waist high waves with poor to fair shape. Pavones, Costa Rica – The swell dropped some this morning, and the low tide was making it super fast and difficult to make sections.  The incoming tide helped, but it was still not able to make it around the corner without shutting down.  Still, it's nice to have waves. Costa Rica Tides: We had a morning low tide of 0.61ft @ 6:45am, pushing up to a high tide of 8.71ft @ 1:07pm, before dropping back down to a low tide of 0.15ft...

Pavones, Costa Rica – The surf picked up a bit this morning with some good sized sets rolling through the line-up.  The crowds sucked!  But, there was plenty of waves to go around.  The wind was light and glassy coming from the northwest for most of the morning, and the conditions stayed mostly calm until the mid afternoon. Surf Reports: Pavones, Costa Rica – April 14, 2017

Costa Rica Surf Report: 2ft  Waist high waves with mostly poor shape. Pavones, Costa Rica – Small Semana Santa surf combined with the requisite crowds, made for a rather uninviting surf session this morning despite favorable wind conditions.  We should be getting a bit more swell over the weekend, hopefully, this will spread out the crowds. Costa Rica Tides: We had an early morning high tide of 8.44ft @ 4:51am, dropping down to a low tide of 0.35ft @ 10:46am, then moving back up to a high tide of 8.82ft @ 5:03pm this evening.
