Surf Reports: Pavones, Costa Rica – April 23, 2017

Costa Rica Surf Report: 3-4ft  Waist to chest high waves with fair to good shape. Pavones, Costa Rica – Waves looked good today.  The top of the point was best with long, fast, peeling into the river mouth section.  Wind conditions were good all day, and the crowd was light.  Hopefully this continues. Costa Rica Surf Report: 3ft  Waist high waves with poor shape. Pavones, Costa Rica – The swell dipped a bit today, though there were still some decent sets coming through, from time to time.  Mostly walled out and really fast sections.  High tide was better.  Winds were light all day. Costa Rica Surf Report: 2-3ft  Waist to chest high waves with poor to fair shape. Pavones, Costa Rica – The waves were about the same this morning as yesterday, though the wind started to come on early.  Still, there were some fun waves to be had before it blew out completely, and the tide flooded the basin. Pavones, Costa Rica – The waves were small and really fun this morning at the top of the point.  It wasn't really breaking around the corner, but there were still some clean long, fast sections breaking all the way through the river mouth. Pavones, Costa Rica –   The waves picked up slightly this morning, and were good on the sets.  The shape was better than yesterday.  The winds were light and glassy until the late afternoon.
